Plastic parts Cleaning and Pre-Treatment

The Plastiwash range is a formulated, cleaning system designed for cleaning of ABS, Polypropylene, PCABS, GRP, SMC, Rim and other types of moulded plastic parts, prior to painting or assembly.

The Plastiwash range is used to clean a wide range of moulded plastic parts, which include:

• Automotive bumpers
• Tractor hoods and canopies
• Moulded roofs for trailer systems
• Automotive light lenses

The Plastiwash range

EcoClean Plastiwash ASF2 is formulated from plant derived surfactants and sequestrates, and does not contain silicates, caustic alkalis or NTA. This ensures a very safe product to use, with no environmental impact. The synergistic combination of these natural materials gives very high cleaning performance, and EcoClean Plastiwash ASF2 will remove a wide range of oils, greases and soils.

EcoClean Plastiwash ASF2 is designed for power spray applications up to 100 bar spray pressure, and will not foam if used within the specified temperature range.

Plastiwash CW1 is an acid based cleaner for cleaning plastic parts. The natural ingredients in Plastiwash CW1 act as highly effective cleaning agents which remove even heavy soiling to ensure a consistent cleaning across the entire surface. These natural ingredients are fully biodegradable and once in the effluent stream encourage and catalyse the biodegradation of other organic materials, e.g.: oils and soils removed from parts during the cleaning process.

Plastiwash ASF 3 is an acid based conditioning rinse for the of cleaning plastic parts and to promote final paint adhesion.
